Every child deserves a safe, comfortable place to sleep and dream.

Through a compassionate collaboration with Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP), Dream Builders helps ensure that children in Oswego County who are sleeping without a proper bed receive not just a mattress and bedding—but dignity, comfort, and the feeling of being cared for.

Dream Builders is collaborating with SHP’s to do a remote bed‑build which will result in 50 beds for kids in need. Our Vice President Lu Hart is a sadfsupervisor at DSS and will work to identify families experiencing need. When a child is referred, we will coordinate the support that surrounds that delivery: warm bedding, comfort items, and the personal touches that let each child know, “You matter.”

This partnership allows us to meet families where they are, remove barriers quietly and respectfully, and wrap them in community love! Each bed delivered becomes more than furniture—it’s a foundation for rest, growth, learning, and hope.

At its heart, Dream Builders is about designing better tomorrows together—neighbors, partners, and families linked by compassion, ensuring every child in our county has a safe place to begin and end each day.
